Artjewelsz: Confidence through Creativity (2-5) (Wait List)
Season:
Fall
Day(s):
Friday
In Artjewelsz After School, students will design and create their own jewelry from start to finish using real artisan techniques. They’ll explore metal stamping, forming, and assembling as they create original pieces based on their own ideas and interests. Using brass, copper, hammers, steel blocks, chain, and other findings and jewelry tools, they’ll craft personalized work while developing creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence. This hands-on experience allows kids to experiment, problem-solve, and express themselves through jewelry-making, all in a fun and supportive environment. Sandra Zacharia is a BCC parent and an accomplished jeweler. For many years, she has taught metalsmithing classes to adults and children. Her work can be
seen on her website, www.artjewelsz.com.
